About Kendell
I didn’t grow up in music.
I didn’t set out to become an artist.
For years, my life followed a different path—one rooted in structure, numbers, and responsibility. I built a career in accounting while raising a family and managing the rhythm of everyday life.
Music wasn’t part of the plan.
But somewhere along the way, something shifted.
It started simply—sitting down at the piano to help my son with his lessons. What began as a small moment turned into something I couldn’t ignore. I kept coming back. Learning. Practicing. Listening differently.
Eventually, I picked up a guitar.
Then I started writing.
Not from a place of performance—but from reflection.
Many of my songs begin as poems. They explore time, purpose, and the weight and beauty of being human. They ask questions about what truly matters, and what remains when everything else fades.
There’s a thread that runs through it all—hope, even in uncertainty. A sense that we are here for something meaningful. And a quiet belief that what we carry within us doesn’t end here… that in some way, we are meant to return to sing.
This journey into music didn’t come from chasing a dream I always had.
It came from discovering one I didn’t know was waiting.
And now, I’m building it—one song at a time.
